Joyas Surf School established in 2004.
Canary Surfing Federation official school.
Jeff, Brevet d’Etat Surf from the French Surf Federation since 1997 and his team of
certified surf instructors will always take you to the best spot of the day.
They will guide you to have a safe and fun experience, so you can enjoy the waves
and improve your surfing.

Selection of the surfing spot depends on the weather conditions and the level of the participants.
Municipal license for the use of / to surf in Playa Blanca in Puerto Rosario.

BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED LEVEL
(Semi) Private classes can help you evolve faster,
while you’ll have the instructor’s full personal attention during the entire class.
We assure you to make a proper analysis of your skills when you arrive.
Together we define the steps to follow in order to reach your goals.
Classes will be adapted to your surfing level and the right surfing spot will be chosen for you.
You will have the opportunity to surf different surfboards.
Jeff, who has over 15 years of experience in surfboards factories, will help you to choose the right surfboard according your actual surfing skills and your possible evolution.
For a better result we recommend a minimum of 2/3 classes.

INTERMEDIATE, ADVANCED & COMPETITION LEVEL
Intermediate level surfers require an individualised coaching structure.
At the start of the course the coach sets personal surfing goals for each surfer depending on his surfing level and gives step by step advice to reach those goals.
Surf coaching exists of surf theory, in water tuition, video analysis and surfboard knowledge.
THEORY
Surf coaching starts with Joyas Surf School LEARN TO LEARN surf theory in the classroom.
Based on 25 years of experience in surf coaching at the highest level,
we have developed our own training program.
We believe that the learning methodology is fundamental.
IN WATER TUITION
With in the water tuition from our coach you’ll received instant feedbacks on your waves and movements, whilst widening your ocean knowledge and building water confidence for larger days.
VIDEO ANALYSIS
Video analysis is a powerful tool in advancing your surfing and being able to see yourself surfing
will give a new perspective and understanding of where you can improve.
Our experienced coach will explain steps and will apply the corrections to get your surfing to the next level.
SURFBOARD KNOWLEDGE
You will be free to choose and try as many surfboards as you want.
Jeff will be there to guide you to select the best board to help you to improve your surfing.
If you have your own board we recommend you to bring it, like this we can check if it’s the right one for you and help you to understand your surf equipment better.
